ADT is Chartwells prefered security provider. The CCE, ADT and SAPS are in constant communication to ensure the area is safe and our residence feel secure in their homes. ADT has installed and monitors our growing CCTV network, which will ultimately include license plate recognition and overview cameras at all entry and exit points to the area, as well as thermal and overview cameras along the river and wetland areas. Chartwell has a well established and successful Block Watch initiative, which encourages every resident to play their part in securing our area. Chartwell has two SOS whatsapp groups, strictly for any life threatening situations. The CCE Board meets with SAPS every two months to achieve optimal collaboration and accountability between SAPS and the Chartwell community.
